Rooster or Dog?

Hello my birthday is January 24 1994. I am so confused. Am I a dog or a rooster. Dog year is 1994 and rooster year is 1993. I'm not born in 1993, so am I a Dog? But how come when I enter my whole birth date, it tells me that I am a Rooster.
