Opening a shop to sell plants and ceramics

Hello - I was born the year of the dog (1982). I am interested in opening a shop that sells living plants and ceramics. I was concerned about opening a business during the year of the dog (2018) and was wondering if I should wait until next year? If opening a business is possible this year (2018), when do you suggest I open it? Thank you sir!
