Female Rooster and Male Rat Compatibility

My boyfriend is a Rat (born on February 18, 1985), I am a Rooster (born on August 7, 1993). We are currently in a long distance relationship (which leads to a lot of worrying on my side).

The compatibility of our signs does not seem to be very good, but I can't find anything if we are harming, offending or punishment signs. I think we can work out every issue we have, but I don't want to hurt him or be to dominant (which I am very likely to be).
