Want to dream of my dad who has passed and can't

My father passed just before I turned 14 in 1991. I want to dream about him so I can be with him but he's never there. I miss him and wonder why he never comes. He wasn't a spiritual man but he had a kind heart and helped anyone in need.
Don't be so upset. In China, it's a good sign if you havn't dreamt of your passed relatives. If he never appear in your dream, it indicate everything is ok for him in another world and he doesn't want to disturb your normal life. In general, if he doesn't live a happy life, he will continuously appear in your dream and tell you about that.
