I'm confused about my Chinese equivalence to western astrology
Asked by J***s |
So my birthday is 16/02/1988 which is an aquarian star sign in Western astrology but in the chinese zodiac 1988 is the yr of dragon but when I read the dragons western equivalent astrology counterpart it's an Aries and the counterpart of an Aquarius is actually the tiger but the tiger to aquarian that being our western counterpart does not fall under the yr of the tiger 1988 is the yr of the dragon what does this mean and why is this so as I check other family members eg my father who is 1966 and his equivalent or counterpart in western astrology is a Gemini which is correct so why am I a dragon 1988 but also a tiger aquarian

People born during 17/02/1988 - 05/02/1989 belong to the sign of Dragon. As you were born on 16/02/1988, you are under the sign of Rabbit in Chinese zodiac.

>For those born before Jan. 23, 1928 or Feb. 17, 1988, they belong to the zodiac animal of Fire Rabbit.
You're not a Dragon, you're a Fire Rabbit. Also the Chinese Zodiac system doesn't translate to the Western system because the Chinese Zodiac system is based on Jupiter and years, whereas the Western system is based on the sun and months.
