Child falling out the window

In my dream, my 18 year old son, 6 year nephew, and 2 year nephew were playing around and the 2 year old ran and jumped out the window. The 6 year old and I ran after him, but had to save ourselves from falling out the window. My son was gone from the picture until my 6 year old nephew and I saved ourselves. The three of us looked over the edge for the 2 year old. What does this mean?
