Is it the Year of Sheep, Goat or Ram?

I see from the web, 2015 is the year of Sheep. But some others say it’s year of the Goat or Ram. I’m confused is it the year of Sheep, Goat or Ram?

There is no need to tell them apart. It can be a ram, sheep or goat - any ruminant mountain animal with horns.

This really caused much confusion in the English world. According to the Chinese folklorists, the animal symbol can be either a sheep or a goat but more likely a goat, as the goat is the mostly seen farm animal among the Han people. Also, on Chinese zodiac stamps or paper cuttings, the images are also goats. The replica of the Yang bronze statue in the Old Summer Palace has a goat head as well.

I think Sheep is more proper. As it’s more lovely than Goat and favored by the Chinese people.
