It is the year of the rat. Based on the auspicious giving birth dates there are some auspicious dates that have clash with 'rat'. Is this bad for the newborn? or is it just the mother if she is a rat?

The date should not clash with the mother's zodiac sign. It doesn't matter if the day clashes with the baby's sign.
