Bedroom door facing staircase

Stairs end at our bedroom door. I've read that it's bad feng shui and I wanted to change the position of the door, but it's not possible. The stairs are literally just 2-feet away. I was trying to look for cures and because of the proximity of the stairs and the bedroom door, suggestions found online like blocking the door is deemed unsafe. May I know if you have a few remedies or cure that we could try? Thanks so much!
