Are auspicious bed directions the same in southern hemisphere?

Having emigrated to Australia I'm desperate to know this. My husband and I are both Kua 1 and have always slept happily South East direction in England.
The South East is the only way we can place our bed in our new home in Australia. However if North and South are reversed, this would be equivalent to our worse possible direction (NE)

The auspicious direction is not affected by where you are. You should still place your bed in Australia in south east to sleep happily.
