In Chinese culture, owl is an inauspicious animal as they often appear near the graveyard. People think if an owl flys into one's room, there will be unlucky things happen to the family after some days. In fact, it's not scientific.
Owl likes to eat mouse, insects, and sometimes also eat birds. As it flew into your room, it may want to find something to eat. There must be its food near your apartment attracting it there. It has no special meaning. Don't think it too much.
