My partner is a year of the dog and wants to wait until the year of the dog (2018) to have a baby. I am a tiger and would prefer to have a child next year. Would year would be most compatible for us?

2017 is year of the Rooster. In Chinese zodiac, Rooster is not compatible with the Dog.
Dog is compatible with Tiger and another dog, so better a baby born in the Dog year.

Yes, you're better off having a baby in 2018. 2018, Year of the Earth Dog, the birth of a smart and skilled dog child, who shall always have the last word with her/his parents.
