Move house
Asked by B***B |
Hi there,
If my moving date clashed with the grandparents zodiac, but they are not living in that house or involve with the move. Is it still ok?
Regards,
BB

Key Considerations:
Grandparents' Zodiac Clash (冲生肖 chōng shēngxiào)
If the moving date clashes with your grandparents' zodiac signs, it is generally considered inauspicious, as it may bring negative energy (冲煞 chōngshà) to the household.
Even if they are not living with you or involved in the move, their zodiac signs still represent family harmony and ancestral blessings.
Possible Solutions:
Choose another date that does not clash with their zodiac signs (consult a Chinese almanac 黄历 huánglì or a Feng Shui master).
Perform a minor ritual to "offset" the clash (e.g., placing a red cloth or a Huatou 符纸 at the entrance).
Let another family member (without a clash) lead the move while the grandparents avoid being present.
If You Must Move on That Date:
Enter the new home before the clash hour (if the clash is based on time).
Wear a red item (clothing/bracelet) for protection.
Avoid mentioning the move to the grandparents until after completion.
Final Advice:
If possible, reschedule to a non-clashing date for better harmony. If not, take extra precautions to minimize negative effects.
