Chinese lunar leap month

The Chinese Gender Calendar can help to predict the baby's gender. It is based on two elements which are the mother-to-be's Chinese lunar age when the baby is conceived and the lunar month of conception.
Is the lunar month of conception affected by the lunar leap month? The name of a leap month is the same as the previous lunar month. So does the result apply the same for the leap month?

If you get pregnant on the first 15 days of a leap month, then the month of conception should be counted as the previous month, and the rest of the leap month should be counted as the next month.
