According to the Chinese Gender Chart, if you find your first day of last menstrual period occurs during one of the following time, it's good for you to try on your ovulation date after the period for baby boy:
January 17, 2018 - March 16, 2018
April 16, 2018 - May 14, 2018
December 7, 2018 - April 4, 2019
May 5, 2019 - June 2, 2019
August 30, 2019 - September 28, 2019
November 26, 2019 - December 31, 2019
