how do I calculate the ovulation date when circle is 23, and the baby boy sellection. my date of birth is 5th August 1979 and lamp is 19th December 2917. help me

According to the Chinese gender calendar, in 2017 if you want to try for baby boy, your period first date should be during Nov 18 - Dec 17. Your period is not in this time rang. So, if you try to follow the calendar, you'd better wait your period which will occur during one of the following time in 2018:
Mar 17 - Apr 15 (40 lunar years old, 2nd lunar month)
May 15 - Jun 13 (40 lunar years old, 4th lunar month)
Jul 13 - Aug 10 (40 lunar years old, 6th lunar month)
Aug 11 - Sep 09 (40 lunar years old, 7th lunar month)
Oct 9 - Nov 07 (40 lunar years old, 9th lunar month)
Dec 7 - Dec 31 (40 lunar years old, 11th lunar month)
