According to Chinese Baby Gender Calendar, if your last period is during one of the following periods, you have more chances to conceive baby boy if try on your ovulation date after it:
January 1 - January 27, 2017
February 26 - March 27, 2017
April 26 - June 23, 2017
August 7 - September 19, 2017
October 20 - November 17, 2017
December 18 - December 31, 2017

So, you can try on your ovulation date in this month.

In 2017 you will get a baby boy if you are conceived in the following periods:

The 12th lunar month of 2016: Jan 1 - Jan 27 in Gregorian calendar.
The 1st lunar month of 2017: Jan 28 - Feb 25 in Gregorian calendar.
The 3rd lunar month of 2017: Mar 28 - Apr 25 in Gregorian calendar.
