I would like to use this calendar and I am not sure what DOB I should take. Is it my actual or the calculated one for the Georgian calendar( the one I get calculated on your website)?

You should use your DOB in Gregorian calendar when using the conveiving calendar. If you still have problem, just let me know your date of birth and the baby's gender you want, I'll help you to check the best conceiving time for you.

I used the calculator and it gave me 27 January 1978 so I should use this one?

You should use 5 March 1978 instead of 27 January 1978. 27 January 1978 is your lunar DOB.
In this year, if you want to conceive baby boy, the best time is October 31 - November 28, 2016.
