If your wife want to conceive baby boy, her last period first date should be during one of the following periods in 2018:
Oct 9 - Nov 07 (the 9th Chinese lunar month)
Nov 8 - Dec 06 (the 10th Chinese lunar month)
Dec 7 - Dec 31 (the 11th Chinese lunar month)

29.10.2018 is during the above time period. You can try to have a baby boy on her ovulation date in this month.

Jan 1 - Jan 05 (36 lunar years old, 11th lunar month)
Jan 6 - Feb 04 (36 lunar years old, 12th lunar month)
Feb 5 - Mar 06 (37 lunar years old, 1st lunar month)
Apr 5 - May 04 (37 lunar years old, 3rd lunar month)
May 5 - Jun 02 (37 lunar years old, 4th lunar month)
Jul 3 - Jul 31 (37 lunar years old, 6th lunar month)
Aug 30 - Sep 28 (37 lunar years old, 8th lunar month)
Oct 28 - Nov 25 (37 lunar years old, 10th lunar month)
Dec 26 - Dec 31 (37 lunar years old, 12th lunar month)
