Renovation

Hi, i realised that my zodiac clashes with the start of my reno day and this is the only day that we can do it. Does it help if i dont join my husband (he is an auspicious zodiac for the day) for the door opening ceremony? I will only join him after he completes the ceremony. Will that help? Thanks!!
