Element Compatibility

Hello Everyone. I wish to learn much about compatibility between two signs and how the signs compatibility relates to the elements. For example, I am a Earth Horse. From what I have read, Horses actually get along the best with Goats (even if this site says otherwise). I have yet to read what type of Goat gets along the best with an Earth Horse. First question, what element goat gets along best with an Earth Horse?
Secondly, does this element usually get along best with Earth (insert Any sign here)? Basically is there a rule that works quite well in many cases about two elements working well together regardless of the sign?
